Lori Lee Sherritt

Lori is an arts educator who has created and implemented many programs for the Vancouver School and Parks Boards including a circus program, a film and video program, and a Harry Potter literacy program. An accomplished children’s performer, Lori has traveled internationally playing such classic characters as Anne of Green Gables and the Velveteen Rabbit. A published writer, her current focus is on children’s literature with manuscripts featuring the lively protagonists Grumpy Gertrude and Percival Persnickity.

Kari-Lynn Winters

Kari is pleased to join the Tickle Trunk Players. She is a published children’s author and a teacher. She has taught a range of students in Canada and the United States, including ones in pre-school, special education, primary, intermediate and high school, as well those in university teacher education. Kari is currently completing her Ph.D. in the Language and Literacy Department at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests are children’s literature, print literacy and multi-modal forms of learning. Look for her debut children’s book Jeffrey and Sloth, from Orca Press, 2007.
